Stretching across 2,000 acres of parkland, farmland and woodland, the beautiful Thornham Estate is located in the valley of the River Dove in rural north Suffolk. Thornham has a long and rich history and has belonged to the Henniker-Major family for over 250 years. The family continue to live at Thornham Hall and takes a keen interest in the running of the Estate. Today, in addition to arable farming, environmental conservation schemes and woodland, a number of other enterprises operate on the Thornham Estate. These include over 12 miles of well-established and popular permissive walks, known as Thornham Walks, a popular cafe, thriving artisan businesses, a walled garden, fishing lakes, holiday accommodation and commercial and residential rental properties.
